Last Christmas at Kmart’s everywhere people were going in and secretly paying off layaways of people they never met! I heard almost once or twice a week of a new Secret Santa encounter. Then the layaway owner would go in and find that all their stuff was paid for. Some Kmart employees called the owners and asked them to come pick their stuff up, that a secret Santa has come and paid. We even participated last year by going into our local Kmart and spent $$$ and put it toward several layaways. The employees helped us pick layaways with toys and Christmas presents.
Right now Kmart is preparing for the season of giving. Kmart is offering free layaway for all your holiday gifts. To celebrate they are launching the “Big Layaway Giveaway”. What is this about? There will be one layaway giveaway per store per week every week from 9/9/12 through 11/17/12. So if you’ve been waiting to start your layaway, get going!! My husband and I used to always head to Kmart on Black Friday and put all the older boys boys on layaway. I was sad when they took it away for a while, but am glad it’s back. See how Kmart’s layaway is better than the competitor’s in the above graft.
So what’s on my lst for our giveaway? Some Legos for my son, a baby doll for my daughter and The Avengers Movie for me. Oh and some tools for hubby These will be perfect to layaway and hey, maybe I’ll win Kmart’s Big Layaway Giveaway!!

People were so disappointed when Kmart moved out of our area a while back. I still get a little weepy when I see the commercials on TV.
as a grandma trying to raise two granddaughters being ill it would be a blessing if our layway was picked 4 the big layway giveawy!!
I already have a layaway on at Kmart in Niagara Falls. And i plan on setting up another lawaway…because of financial deficulties…its hard for me to just purchase my boys gifts out right…and the lawaway at kmart makes it easier for me to try and get the things my boys want and deserve for christmas. Thanks to kmart i will be able to give my 3 sons a great christmas…all by myself. It would be great if my lawaway was picked for the big giveaway…but if not i know that someone elses layaway will be greatly appreciated by the children who recieve the great gifts provided by kmart. I would love to be blessed with the layway payoff after losing my husband it’s been really hard as a single mother to make sure my kids have not only a great Christmas but a great year. Even if I don’t its nice to know that people care enough to help others I wish I could help someone in need.
