Mock Election in Pre-K

My daughter’s Pre-K class did a mock election on the 5th. The candidates were the Cookie Monster, who promised us a cookie every day and The Count, who said that they could count on him to help them learn, count, & solve problems. It was unanimous – the Cookie Monster was the big winner! They marked their ballots and put them in the ballot box! Then they received a “I voted today” badge.

I thought it was pretty cool! Of course they did not get a cookie today….

I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here I started a non-profit, I'm on the PTO board, very active in my community and volunteer in the school. I enjoy music, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. We just adopted our 3rd cat and love them all!
