Crafty Bands Charm Bracelets

Valentine's_Day

Candy is so traditional for Valentine’s Day. If your little girl likes to craft why not get her Crafty Bands from Epiphany Crafts. It’s a brand new line of design-it-yourself custom charm bracelets.

Crafty Bands is designed for children ages 8 and up, but I made them with my five year old daughter and she did fine with a little help from me.

Crafty Bands comes with a Shape Studio Tool, which allows you to cut out pretty pictures. Bright, colorful bracelets and  charms are also included.

So, this how we made ours…

Savannah and I looked through my basket of magazines for fun pictures like Disney Princesses, hearts, letters and other fun stuff. Then we cut the pictures a little smaller.

Then Savannah choose a colorful bracelet and charms. We placed the picture into the Shape Studio Tool, added the top of the charm and cut the picture into a small circle. The top of the charm is sticky so the picture sticks to it.

Then we added a glue square, provided in the pack and added it to the top of the charm and placed the top to the bottom half. Then placed the charm onto the bracelet. Then we kept adding charms until her bracelet was done!

You can check out these fun Valentine’s Day printable from their website. http://craftybandsblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/crafty-bands-valentine-printables.html

You can also use pictures from the internet and regular photos of friends and family. I thought the magazines were easier form my daughter.

For older girls it would be fun to make a best friend bracelet. I could totally see myself as a tween doing that! These would great for sleepovers too!
