I’d like to remind everyone that Grandparent’s Day is Sept.13th. There is a great way to show you care through a program called Your Voice on Grandparent.com.
It’s very easy to do. You basically dial a phone number, record your greeting (or have your child speak) into the phone and then you can send your message via email to anyone that you like! They don’t need to be site members to receive the email and hear the greeting.
I tried it yesterday with my son. You go to Grandparents.com and click on the “try it now” button. You will then be given a phone number (it is long distance) and follow the directions. My mother then received an email and followed the prompts ( no signing up, very simple) and was able to hear the message. I’m going to do it for the other grandparents as well.
