Did you know, according to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer within her lifetime? That’s 12 percent of all women who will be personally impacted by the disease. This Spark is to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. When participating in Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives program, you too can make a difference.
Starting in September, Yoplait started putting pink lids on their products. It’s an easy way for you to participate in the fight against breast cancer. For every pink lid mailed in by December 31, 2009, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000. In addition, you can visit

See the above photo. I wasn’t so sure about the yogurt, but I tried it and was surprised that it tastes just a good as their regular yogurt! I got strawberry and it tastes great, even my daughter liked it.

I always wear this little pink pin I got while I worked at Walgreens. If you donated money to wear jeans, you could wear the pin to show you had supported breast cancer awareness. I still have it, four years later, and still wear it every October (and other times throughout the year).
