My Son Wants A Swiss Army Knife

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Swiss Army Knives . All opinions are 100% mine.

My son has been asking for an army knife for a few years now. We keep saying “not yet”. We told him he could have one at 10 years old and he’ll be ten in October so I guess I’ll have to bite the bullet and get him one. Unless, I can use the excuse of “well, if your sister gets a hold of it…”
So I’m looking into it and checking out what’s out there. Have you seen the new Dual Pro X ? It’s the one pictured above. It was modeled after the popular Victorinox Swiss Army Soldier Knife. It’s designed to handle multiple tasks—indoors and out—with ease and precision. It’s $65.00 and has the classic red handle.

The Dual Pro X features:
One-Hand Locking Blade
One-Hand Serrated Locking Seat Belt Cutter
Phillips Screwdriver
Can Opener with
Small Screwdriver
Bottle Opener with
Large Locking Screwdriver
Wire Stripper
Reamer
Key Ring

I don’t think I’ll get him this one. A little too pricey for a first timer, especially since he loses things all the time. But this would be a nice gift for my dad. I remember my dad always having an Army Knife on him. It’s a great tool to keep on hand. I have one in my glove box in my car and there’s one in the junk drawer at home. That’s the one Hunter’s keeps wanting. But the one in the car is great! It’s nice to know that it’s there if I need it.

I have many friends male and female that carry knife like that. My dad had a Swiss army knife too. But I know when I am out and especially camping who I can get to help me out with a knife, Screwdriver, Bottle Opener or even scissors… of course if I can't find mine! But yea the one friend that I always can count on is a single mom……..
