Have you heard of the new movie coming out Mars Needs Moms? It sounds like a great movie. I can’t wait to take my son!
SocialMoms has a great topic that I wanted to share with my readers.Ten things my children would miss if I were abducted by martians.
These would vary depending on the child, my son is ten and my daughter, three. I thought it would be fun to come up with my top ten – hope I can come up with them!
1. Who would do all the family traditions? For Christmas we have funny presents and feed the reindeer. I hide a present to open up after all of the other gifts are opened. I love to carry on my familie’s traditions and they always look forward to them.
2. Who would make Christmas cookies? Every year I make a ton of cookies, brownies and candies. They always love to help out. We then pass them out to all the neighbors as a family. I think they would really miss that.
3. They would miss all of our dancing and singing. We love to dance around the house with the music real loud. And of course we love to sing! In the car we love to turn it up and let it go!
4. All of my hugs and kisses! I love to give them out and so do they! I have always been a touchy, feely person and I find them touching me or each other. A gentle touch on the arm, it’s so sweet to see it passed on to them.
5. Who would play all the silly games with them? I love to play games and they know it!
6. I know they would miss my wonderful milkshakes. It sounds silly maybe, but I always make the best milkshakes. I even take broken cookies or candy and mix em up.
7. My cooking! The kids love my spaghetti and nachos and burritos. Don’t get me wrong, they like my husband’s cooking too. But I make the fun stuff and am always looking for something new to try and always make it kid friendly!
8. Pictures! I am the picture taker in the family. They would surely miss all of the fun memories from my pictures.
9. Who would they fall asleep with. Yes I know, I’m one of those moms who lets her kids sleep in the same bed. But I’m away all day and love the company.
10. Me! They would miss all of my LOVE!
That was easier than I thought! I knew I could come up with ten things my son wouldn’t miss. My telling him to do his homework, take shower and eat his fruits and veggies. All those good things. I know I would would miss them to pieces!
So what would your kids miss about you?
