You know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? That’s why schools tell kids to eat a good breakfast before tests.
I have a super hard time getting my son to eat breakfast. My daughter on the other hand loves to eat breakfast! What do we eat for breakfast?
Pop Tarts and cereal come in second. And Eggos come in third.
Hunter’s breakfast today was a S’mores Pop Tart.
Did you also know that some kids don’t get breakfast at all? It’s sad really. Kellogg’s is doing something about it! You can too!
Kellogg’s has partnered with Action For Healthy Kids to help fight childhood hunger as many children go to school on an empty stomach each day. Kellogg’s is asking people to take pictures and “share their breakfast” on their website . One photo upload to http://www.shareyourbreakfast.com/ or the word SHARE texted with a photo or a description of your breakfast to 21534 equals one shared breakfast.
That is so super easy and so worth it!
Kellogg’s goal is to share 1 million breakfasts in the 2011-2012 school year. Did you know that almost 1 in 4 kids in America struggle with hunger.
So, go take a picture of your breakfast and send it in! Help a child in need!
