A working mom trying to do it all ....and succeeding!
This is the first day of Savannah’s swimming lessons. She was very shy but warmed up the next day.
I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here I started a non-profit, I'm on the PTO board, very active in my community and volunteer in the school. I enjoy music, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. We just adopted our 3rd cat and love them all!

Yay! I hope they go well! How old is she? I’ve been debating signing my daughter up but she hates to have water on her face (she will be 4 in Oct).
She’s 3 and does NOT like her face in the water, either! But we’re getting there.
CUTE! WHERE ARE THEY SWIMMING AT? WELLINGTON AQUATICS? MY SON WENT THERE LAST YEAR – IT’S YMCA FOR US THIS YEAR. :”)
NICOLE
Yes, it’s at the Wellington pool. Where is the YMCA? Downtown?
Yay, good luck! My girls love their swimming lessons! THis is our 2nd summer and it has really given them so much confidence in the water!
I like it because it’s someone else reinforcing what I taught her.
That is soooooo cute! You’re making me want to turn back the hands of time!
You can always have another! 🙂
Absolutely NOT!
Oh, she looks adorable. I can’t imagine watching my child learn to swim, do you get anxious?
Sometimes.. I’m right there watching, that’s for sure!
Looks like she is doing great. You’ll have a fish in no time. Thanks for linking up at the Zoo today so happy to have you.
Thank you!
The kids completed learn to swim lessons a couple of weeks ago – thankfully they all learned and now I can’t keep them off the diving board. So fun and now I got all that exercise swimming in the deep end. 🙂 Win-Win.
Oh, I’m not ready for the diving board for her – not yet. Notice how I said, I’m not ready!
Aww, so cute!
How awesome! My daughter and I took a mommy/toddler class years ago, it was a blast!
I need to get my boys in official lessons. they are getting better but still not strong enough that I relax with them by the water and they are 7 and 8
Lessons are great – gives them a chance to be with other kids their age and have fun too!
Swim lessons are the best! Teaching them is even more fun!! I love all the kids that come 😀
I can’t wait to start my son on swimming lessons too.
They do have them for little ones, but I waited until 2 and a half (last year)
I have got to get my kids into swimming lessons!
it takes time… and I’m sure she’s going to enjoy it.
JDaniel looks so nervous the Y assigned him his own teacher.
