Going to work and leaving your kids is so hard for some parents and kids. I know. I always hate to leave them. Monday is One Day is a great children’s book that shows different families and how the parent must go to work. It’s not complicated, just a simple countdown of the days of the week until the families can be together on the weekend.
The illustrations are wonderful and full of color. Savannah had me read it several times and understood what was going on in the story. Very cute book! I like how diverse the families are. There is a single mom, single dad and an older couple, maybe grandparents.
The author is Arthur Levine and Julian Hector did the illustrations. Arthur Levine wrote this book when he was home with his infant son and was thinking how much he would miss him when he went back to work. I can so relate!

I would love to win for my son he is two,we have already taught him the alphabets and about 45 words ,he knows by sight not a song and not in order, we read together regular I love new books it is Mommy time , and as we all know reading with our children will help them to love reading .
