About a month ago I bought my 3 and 10 year old an iPod. Is that crazy or what?
Their iPod is so cool and functional, I can’t believe I didn’t buy it sooner.
They can take pictures or video.
They can watch a movie or TV shows.
They can listen to music.
They can play games on it – instead of my phone!
My son can even go on the Internet on it (if we’re at home).
It was a great to have on the airplane on our Indiana trip. It’s a nice distraction at the store for my 3 year old daughter, who wants to run around the store.
I do set guideline and have utilized the restrictions on both. I thinks it’s one of my best buys!

Do your young ones have an iPod? Are you thinking of getting one?
Not at all! My 3 year old is so tech savvy that after a few minutes she’d know exactly what to do with it. In fact I’d love to buy my 3 year old an iPad Touch if I had the money. Smart move!
It’s crazy, but they do know what to do with it!
Heck no, you aren’t crazy! My boy was about that age when I won an iPod and we’ve never looked back. I bought an iPad a few months ago, and he has commandeered that, as well. I think if you are careful to put fun AND educational games on it, you can’t go wrong. My boy learned TONS of sight words playing games on his iPod.
I so want an iPad, but I’m sure they’ll take that too! lol
My kids (4 and 2) are way too destructive to have their own devices. We let them, with our guidance, use our Ipad to watch videos on long trips, but that’s about it.
I noticed many of the younger siblings of JDaniel classmates is swim classes using ipods.
Love you Kermit cover have that for my iphone
I love it too! I want it for my phone!
As long as you set time limits I think it is fine. My daughter would be on hers 12 hours a day if I let her!
Yes, I have to do restrictions or my little one would never put it down.
In this day and age, how can we avoid it? There are some pretty amazing things for them to do with them, and I do like that Kermit protector!
I think it is a GREAT idea!
thanks!
