Rent Books for College?

Back to School means the start of college too. My stepson, Adam is starting his 5th year of college. He’s going for his Master’s degree. I’m very proud of him and all that he’s doing!

I was talking with him the other day and he told me he rents his books! I never knew that was an option for students. I think that’s a wonderful idea.  He’s very interested in trying out  CampusBookRentals.com. He checked out their website and told me they are the cheapest around.

So how does this work? CampusBookRentals.com offer books at less than 50% off the books at the bookstore. You can order online and it’s even okay to highlight the book. When you’re done, just send them back or keep them and just pay the difference.

Looking to save money on books check them out – CampusBookRentals.com

They have also partnered with Operation Smile and are donating over 1,000 life saving cleft lip surgeries this year to children in need.  So for EVERY book rented starting now, a portion of those proceeds will be donated to Operation Smile.

Have you ever heard of renting books for college? Maybe I’m too old!

My stepson will receive a coupon code for book sales in exchange for this post!

My daughters have both rented textbooks before. Consider the purchase price/resale value, renting is definitely the best alternative many times!
