A few months ago several of the house on our street were sited with code enforcement violations. That’s the joy of living in a city that odes this. However it is nice that they keep tabs on the house so everything is kept nice.
Our neighborhood is not as bad as some, though. I am grateful for that. We had to pressure clean our sidewalks and driveway. We had some shrubs to plant to “hide” our garbage cans and fence. These I did with smallish plants that will eventually grow nice and big. I had to paint my mailbox and I had to place our house number on the house.
I didn’t realize the last one was mandatory. ( we have it on the mailbox) I shopped at Home Depot and Lowes and came up with the individual numbers, but our house is brick and did not want to put so many holes in the brick. Then I shopped around online for custom address plaques and found this plain and simple one. This way I only needed to drill 2 holes. There awere so many personalized address plaques to choose from! I liked the bronze address plaques, but thought the silver looked best with our house colors.

I think it’s actually kinda nice that they make sure everyone keeps their home so neat. It’s great for your property values!
