I Love Flowers!

Did I ever tell you I used to work in a florist? I did. From about the age 15 to 19 years old. I started out delivering flowers after school, then Sandy, the owner taught me how to arrange flowers and gift baskets.

I remember for my mom’s birthday one year, I had a surprise party for her and had flowers everywhere in the house. I was able to buy the flowers direct form the truck and had vases in every room. We did funeral arrangements and had one that was returned a day or two from the party and I rearranged the flowers a bit and took that to the house too!

I loved working there. We were always sending flowers delivered by Interflora and FTD. I’ve always said I would love to own a floral shop. Maybe one day.

I’ve send my mom flowers in the past. She always told us kids that she wanted to enjoy her flowers while she was alive.

 

Interflora flowers always has a wonderful selection of flowers to choose from for any holiday or just because. I like to find a local florist and send flowers that way and forgo extra charges.

Mother’s Day is coming up, maybe I should send mom some flowers this year, or maybe a flowering plant.

    I tend to send plants, since flowers die. But I love a fresh cut bouquet!

    I love flowers. My husband has only ever given me flowers twice. I keep telling him he can do it more often.

    I never used to like them, but in the last year or so I really have come to enjoy having fresh flowers in the house!

    I love flowers too, wish I had the money so that I could send them to my loved ones. Oh, and I wish my husband would buy me some flowers – but he don’t.
