My Broken Heart – Book Review

I love a good book. I could read for hours just getting absorbed in the lives of the characters.

I found a new author Becky Wade an her new book My Stubborn Heart is wonderful!

A little about the book:

Kate Donovan is tired of work, not very successful in her dating and just needs something exciting to happen. Her grandmother asks Kate to go with her to Pennsylvania to restore the old grand house she grew up in. Kate sees this as her chance at some adventure.

Matt Jarreau is the man hired to renovate the house. Matt has gone through some hard times and is hiding from his past wounds. Kate’e stubborn heart is set on bringing Matt out into the light, whether he likes it or not.

A great love story that had me in tears and smiling as I read. It was easy to read. I love the characters, even the minor ones. Morty and Velma , friends of Kate’s Gran, are a classics. I related some of Gran’s friends to my mother’s friends. lol

Becky Wade is a wonderful writer and I can’t wait to read more of her books!
