Wrinkles are a natural part of getting older, but there is a lot you can do to prevent wrinkles from forming in the first place. While you can’t stay young forever, you can prevent some of the more extreme signs of aging with natural anti aging treatments. Here are 5 ways to keep your skin looking youthful, vibrant, and marvelous:

1. Hydrate Your Skin- Dry skin can lead to the development of wrinkles, so hydration is crucial to a youthful complexion. Drinking plenty of water each day will help your body flush out nasty toxins that can harm your skin, and applying a facial moisturizer daily will bathe your skin in moisture from the outside too. Moisturizing will keep your skin soft, supple, and elastic.

2. Get Vitamin E- Vitamin E is an antioxidant which fights off toxins that cause aging and wrinkles. These toxins are caused by pollution and the sun’s rays, making them unavoidable. You can, however, fill up on Vitamin E rich foods such as almonds, sunflower seeds, and dark leafy greens. You can also buy lotions and creams enriched with Vitamin E to keep your skin looking and feeling even younger.

3. DIY Facial Massage- A soothing facial massage will relax your worry lines and wipe years away from your complexion. Using an almond or olive based skin oil, rub your face thoroughly and massage your neck and face with firm pressure. Focus upward strokes around your forehead and downward strokes around your mouth and eyes. DIY facial massages will increase the blood flow to your face, making your skin vibrant and blushing.

4. Eat Right- A diet rich in vegetables and fruits is good for more than just your waistline! The essential nutrients that are found in many fruits and vegetables are key to keeping your skin looking and feeling healthy. Try to avoid fatty and oily foods, since these can make you more prone to acne and uneven skin tone.

5. Apply Facial Creams- There are a variety of wrinkle creams available that can not only prevent the development of new wrinkles, but can also reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles. Quality wrinkle creams will keep your skin looking youthful, vibrant, and beautiful.

6. Rehydrate Your Skin- When your skin is feeling dry in the middle of the day, spritz your face with a moisturizing facial toner to soothe and hydrate your skin. Rosewater, aloe vera, and green tea toners are popular options because of their amazing hydrating properties, not to mention the subtle, pleasant smell they give off. Store your toner spray in the fridge for a cool moisturizing spritz that will help wake you up when you feel sleepy in the middle of work or chores.

Healthy skin is key to looking young, and there is a lot you can do to keep your skin healthy and vibrant. Follow these five easy tips to combat facial wrinkles!
