I love reading a good holiday story around the holidays. Kinda like watching a good movie.
I was sent A Merry Little Christmas by Anita Higman to read. It’s set in the 60’s, which I love that time period. I thought it was a great read and would recommend it as a holiday love story.
Franny Martin is a real life farm gal who loves to spend her time on the farm with the pigs and chickens. Well, she’d rather be off in the city and working at a radio station, but for now the farm is her home.
Then, Charlie shows up and offers to buy her farm. What she didn’t know is that she would fall for Charlie. Charlie wants to prove to his wealthy father that he can run a business and succeed. Charlie didn’t come looking for love, but he may have found it in Franny.
Fall in love with this cozy story about two people from different worlds.

Thank you for posting this review. I always struggle with gifts for my sister, and this is something she would enjoy. Her birthday is right before Christmas, so she’s get this in time to finish it before our family celebrations.
This book sounds like a classic Christmas story. I always enjoy reading one good book that captures the Christmas spirit. I’ll have to check this one out.
