I never heard of such a thing, but I’m loving the idea! I would love to eat lunch with my son at school, but being 12 years old, he probably doesn’t want me to come to his school and sit with him. But if many other parents were going to be there, then maybe….
Apparently on October 17, parents across the country will be sitting down with their child to eat lunch together in their school’s cafeteria. Do they get to eat the school food too?

Say what? I work in the school’s food service, and this is the first I’ve heard about this.
But…I’d bet you if the parents do come, the majority will either bring fast food or not eat. And frankly, I don’t blame them.
