Glass Necklace Review/Giveaway – Holiday Gift Guide

While shopping for everyone on my list this season, I am also buying for those in need. We did shoe boxes to send overseas and we are adopting a brother and sister from a local organization. I took the kids shopping and they picked out what they thought the children would like.

But did you know you can buy gifts and donate at the same time? Through World Vision. World Vision Gifts will help those  who are in desperate need and to help children and families in struggling communities around the world. You can also donate financially without purchasing a gift.

But what if you purchase the gift and donate that gift? That would like double donating!   Some cool items to purchase….

Eco Cold Cup: This popular 16 oz. BPA-free tumbler. Everyone uses these it seems.

Veggie Tales “Incredible Vegetables” DVD.

– A set of plush toys – Gertie Goat, Chuma Chick and Pallu Pig.

– Artisan Beaded Necklace: This glass-bead necklace is handmade in Thailand and can be worn several different ways — even as a multi-strand bracelet. (shown above)

World Vision has sent me the beautiful Glass Necklace and it is beautiful!. They would also like to give one to a Mommy Has to Work reader!!

I received the above product to review. Opinions are my own.

  1. This year I didn’t do much in the way of financial donations. I did, however, spend a lot of time with students who needed extra help. I have spent a lot of days in my classroom until 7 p.m., finding just the right way to help my students grow. My donations this year have been with my time and attention.

  3. This year I got the kids in on donating–fortunately our local nature center has fun ways for kids to help out with the expansion process, like auctioning off pumpkins at Halloween time, that they found fascinating.
