My husband and I do not do anything big for Valentine’s Day. In years past he would send me flowers to my work. Which is always a winner. The other girls would ohh and ahh over them. I love flowers, but don’t want to have to spend a fortune. There are a lot more companies that offer more affordable or even going to your local florist or grocery. They have beautiful flowers.
Chocolate is always a winner. Have you seen Shari’s Berries? They have some yummy looking chocolate covered strawberries. Fruit and chocolate! Each one is only 90 -100 calories each! They also have some other wonderful Valentine’s Day goodies. A great gift for my husband would be the mini cheesecakes. That’s his favorite! You can even get a coupon for Shari’s Berries for 20% off or $10 off your order. They have these cute Love Bug Cake Pops for the kids.
A manicure or pedicure is one of my favorites. A pedicure is what I would like this year. Hint, Hint!! I don’t do them routinely, I usually do my own, but it’s just so nice to sit and relax in those massage chairs and have my toes done to perfection! Here are my toes last year. I love getting the flowers done on them!
Perfumes are also a could idea to consider. As it’s a special occasion, if you’re feeling romantic on the day, you could always try out pheromone perfumes. There is an article found on WebMD that discusses how using pheromones can dramatically increase a woman’s sex appeal to the opposite sex. Pheromones are body secretions that cause a change in the reproductive behavior of the opposite sex. They’re processed by one of two areas in the nose that convey messages to the brain and can stimulate sexual behavior. So maybe have a think about buying him a pheromone perfume, and you might even what to find some pheromones for women that you can use on yourself too for this special day!
A house cleaning service. I know, not very romantic. But who wouldn’t want their house cleaned for them for once? Me!!
For my children this year, I’m going to take them to Build A Bear Workshop. My daughter have never made one and even though my son is 12, he wants another one as well. I think it’s better than candy and I have a coupon!!

What are you doing for Valentine’s Day this year?
This is a partnered post. Opinions are my own.
All are cute ideas!
No big plans this year…. I love the cake pops idea though, that looks fun!
I would love to get my nails done.. 🙂
JDaniel loves his Build A Bear!
I would love to get a mani pedi for Valentine’s Day!
I love the ladybug pops!
I want a mani and pedi!
I’m in desperate need of a pedicure, so I’d love that!
I’d love any of those! &We need to go to Build a Bear, it’s been too long!
love the toes! We don’t do anything big for Valentine’s either
I usually cook my Husband up something special he likes!
These are all great ideas, but I would definitely take a pedicure!
I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I may follow suit and take the kids to Build-a-Bear.
The Build A Bear shop would be the perfect gift for my grandson, too! Thanks for the idea!
I’m treating myself to a pedi soon . I’ll just write it off as a Valentine’s Day treat to myself :).
I think it’s nicer to recieve flowers at work on feb 5 over the 14th or march 8 just because. Because you are loved and appreciated and not because it is a Hallmark holiday with jacked up prices on the same roses that were close to 50% cheaper 2 weeks earlier.
Love your toes!!
Love the toes and the chocolate.
Cute ideas!
Great ideas!! I want a mani and pedi!!!
We really don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I will get something for the kids!
I actually ordered those love bug cake pops this year and they were absolutely delicious!
A mani is the perfect gift any time of year 🙂
I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is coming up so quickly!
Manicure is a great idea, I’d much rather get that than more (fattening) chocolate!
Great ideas!
Some wonderful ideas! Probably a nice dinner 🙂
A big old hug from my little sunshine will do for me 🙂
those cake pops are so cute!!!
How cute! We usually go out to dinner, or make a fancy dinner at home together if we can’t find someone to watch the kids.
love getting a pedicure but I think I love Turtles More
Skip the flowers for me. Just bring on the Dove chocolates!
I love Shari’s Berries and I would die for a pedicure right about now.
My husband has gotten much better about giving me practical gifts, that I really can use, and love! 🙂
Since my son is not little, I don’t do anything for Valentines Day. But, I am hinting to hubby that I would like a gift certificate for a massage instead of flowers.
I love Valentine’s Day! Plus, it’s so close to my wedding anniversary. 🙂
These are very good ideas!
