My daughter has stolen my phone and my new tablet. She asks to download all these fun apps. She’s only 5 and has been doing for the last 2 years. Children learn so early nowadays.
I decided to download an app for my daughter without asking. Kidoteca asked me to review an app for children and I thought it would be a fun surprise for her.
The app we download is Matryoshka! deluxe. It’s available for iTunes, Google and Amazon.
Matryoshka! deluxe for kids is a game featuring Russian nesting dolls. The game is a puzzle where you have to open all the nesting dolls and then find the smallest and put them back together again. Then at the end you get either fireworks, balloons, bubbles or other surprises to pop. My daughter loves to pop the bubbles!
The deluxe version is only $1.99 and comes with 65 dolls to play with.
The games tests children with :
* concentration and coordination
* size discrimination and sequencing
* learning the importance of organization
* various themes to discover: farm animals, sea animals, savanna animals, dinosaurs, monsters, bugs, professions, transports and soccer team to get familiar with numbers
To be honest I thought the game would be too simple for my daughter, which I guess in a sense it is. But she loves to play it!
Kidoteca is an independent studio developing apps for children. We think education can be fun, and our philosophy is to promote learning through game and discovery.
Our apps are designed to be perceived by kids as original toys, easy to handle, and always bringing something new to their vision of the world. Rather than focusing on typical scholarly content (ABC, 123, …), we try to explore new fields while developing the curiosity of the children.
Because we deeply respect the innocence of kids, we do not include advertising or in-app purchases within our apps.
We believe that in the long term Kidoteca is going to be seen by parents as the standard in the apps for kids world –a brand synonym for high quality and intelligence.
Kids are Curious. We make apps for them
I receive compensation for my review. Opinions are my own.
This looks like it would be fun for my nieces.
My kids are addicted to my phone and tablet too! We’ll have to check this one out…thanks!
How fun and what a different way to learn.
