I am the lawn care taker in the family. I don’t really want that position but it has been bestowed upon me so I do the best I can do. I do know that feeding the lawn is very important. Important for the growth of your grass and to get rid of weeds. Scotts Lawn Care has a new product coming out especially for Florida grass. It will be only be available in Ft. Myers and Jacksonville to begin with. Bonus S is an existing lawn care product designed specifically for southern grass and weeds. But a new, more effective formula that’s guaranteed to clear out listed weeds including dollarweed and clover is being rolled out this spring! I’m excited to have my lawn be one of the first to try this new formula! I have St. Augustine Grass and this will work just fine with Scotts Turf Builder.

.

So what can you look forward to with the new formula? Well – it’s new and improved! It’s also the most effective Bonus S formula ever that’s guaranteed to clear out listed weeds including dollarweed and clover. Which is something my lawn needs help with in certain areas. Bonus S controls 82% more types of weeds. Yeah! Bonus S is Now safe for more major southern grass types including St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), bermudagrass(new), centipedegrass, zoysiagrass, seashore paspalum(new) and buffalograss(new). Like I said I believe our grass I St. Augustine Grass. That’s all we’ve ever had even living in South Florida for over 30 years. You can purchase the new Bonus S at major retailers in the Jacksonville & Ft. Myers area. I will be following up with more information about Bonus S in the next few weeks. I can’t wait for Spring to come so I can get rid of some dead flowers and spruce our lawn!

  1. Well, we actually don’t have a lawn but, when we did, this would have come in serious handy. I’m sure the new formula works even better!

  2. I used to have TruGreen come do my lawn.

  3. I’ll have to keep this in mind for the spring

  4. We have used other products from the Scotts line and it works really good! That is neat they have a southern weed mix now, sounds like it will do the job!

  5. I will have to learn more about lawn care and such when we finally get a new house.

  6. We rent our farm and are responsible for the lawn care.

  7. We use TruGreen on our lawn!

  8. I have such a weed problem in my yard, but this sounds very promising.

  9. Our lawn is so pitiful that we need a service like this. As soon as it gets warm again, we’ll get it worked on.

  10. Having a lawn that is green is something I’ve always dreamed of . I don’t live in Florida but I do have friends there I’ll have to share the information

  11. I wish we had a garden so we could use Scotts. Their products are great so I hear.

  12. After all the snow we’ve gotten, I just can’t wait to see grass again!

  13. We have LOTS of clover — I’m going to mention this to my husband!

  14. Our lawn looks like an embarrassing mess, so I’m definitely going to tell my hubby about this!

  15. Thankfully, this isn’t something I don’t to be concerned about right now since I live in an apartment. I’ll probably be the care taker of my lawn once I get a house, though. 🙂

  16. I love that they have different formulas for different regions- soil is definitely not all the same everywhere! {Though I wish it was, so that I could actually grow stuff here in the desert!}

  17. We take care of it. I wonder if this would help our grass in the desert?

  18. Our lawn is fake, which is the norm in Las Vegas due to severe drought conditions. Although I often miss the feel of real grass, I sure love the upkeep factor.

  19. I don’t have a clue what kind of grass we have here. Actually it’s more like weeds with a sprinkling of grass. Sigh.

  20. I am without a lawn this year. Felt really weird this year with all the snow, not worrying about shoveling. Going to be in charge of our properties landscaping this Spring and Summer so that is exciting!

  21. I let my husband take care of the lawn. 🙂 I will be so delighted when Spring is here to STAY.

  22. My husband takes care of our lawn most of the time but occasionally I help out when I can.
