I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here I started a non-profit, I'm on the PTO board, very active in my community and volunteer in the school. I enjoy music, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. We just adopted our 3rd cat and love them all!

  1. What an interesting infographic! When I was younger we lived in a house with 2 master bedrooms and one of them was mine… it was an old house and the closet was huge and shaped oddly. I used to imagine a secret passageway in the back of it all the time. True story. 🙂

  2. That’s pretty cool to learn. I had no idea they had such a history!

  3. Who knew hidden doors had such a great history. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. Wow, so interesting. I had so much fun reading this!

  5. A new, very hip food hall opened up near us. One of the businesses is a speakeasy with a truly hidden entrance. If it weren’t for the crowd of people hovering near it, searching for the entrance, you never would know it’s there. It seems like such a new & fun concept, but it’s actually such a very old idea.

  6. I’ve always wanted a place that had hidden doors, they always look so cool in movies!

  7. Wow those are interesting and some of them scary facts!

  8. What an interesting infographic. I especially liked the last part about the trap doors.

  9. I find this stuff fascinating! I remember a childhood friend had a secret passageway in her house which I thought was the coolest thing ever.

  10. These facts are all super cool! I consider myself a history buff and would really enjoy visiting each of these places.
