This is the time of year that I usually over indulge. It’s hard not too as there are so many tasty treats and foods to try. Premier Protein sent me some of their protein bars to help curb my sweet tooth.

Made with Premier Protein’s vanilla shake, these recipes are packed with healthy protein, not sugar or calories, giving the energy you need to make it through the holiday season.
Cranberry Protein Shake
1 Premier Protein Vanilla Shake
2 Dollops of Cranberry Sauce
7-8 Ice Cubes
Blend until smooth and enjoy!
Apple Pie Smoothie
1 Premier Protein Vanilla Shake
1 apple (cored and sliced)
1 tsp apple pie spice
1-2 tsp honey
5-8 ice cubes
Blend until smooth and enjoy!
High Protein Eggnog
2 Premier Protein Vanilla Shakes
½ Egg Substitute
2 Tbsp Stevia
2 Tsp Rum Extract
½ Tsp Nutmeg (ground)
2 Pinches cinnamon (ground)
In a medium saucepan heat the Premier Protein® Shake, egg substitute and sweetener on medium to high. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens slightly, usually a few minutes (Note, do not bring to a boil.) Stir in the vanilla, rum, ½ tsp nutmeg & pinch of cinnamon.
Remove from heat and pour into a heat resistant container, cover and refrigerate until the eggnog has cooled (at least 3 hours.)
