2016 Tax Day Freebies! #taxday

Tax Day is Monday, April 18th. Nearly a dozen restaurants, retailers and other businesses that have put together freebies and deals that you can take advantage of on or near Tax Day. I have put together a list of 6 places you can go to score some freebies on that day!!

Kona Ice:

Kona Ice, which specializes in shaved ice, has declared April 15 as National Chill Out Day. That means free shaved ice for all on Tax Day. Find a Kona Ice location near you so you can enjoy your free shaved ice.

Boston Market:

Yum, I absolutely love Boston Market! On Tax Day you pay $10.40 for a Half Chicken Individual Meal with 2 sides, cornbread, regular fountain drink and a cookie. $10.40, like the 1040 tax form..haha. Great American Cookie:

Who doesn’t love cookies?! Great American Cookie is continuing its annual Tax Day freebie tradition by offering a free original chocolate chip cookie to customers who stop by participating stores on Monday, April 18. No purchase or proof of completed taxes is necessary. While supplies last; one cookie per customer.

Planet Fitness:

During tax week (April 18-22) both Planet Fitness members and non-members, age 18 or older, can sign up for a free massage on a HydroMassage bed or lounger, as well as massage chair, at all 1,000+ Planet Fitness locations nationwide, with coupon. Coupon goes live on www.planetfitness.com on April 18.

Staples:

Staples is helping customers get organized and protect their identity this tax season with free shredding. On April 18th, you can bring in your confidential documents and have your first 5 pounds shredded on the house! This is valid at any Staples across the country. According to the IRS, tax returns and all supporting documents including bank statements should be retained for a minimum of three years.
