Create an Autobiography with Passdown Journal

Did you ever wish your grandparents or parents had kept journals?  Or that you’d had written down their stories and experiences? Have you ever tried to remember something from your own past that you couldn’t fully recall? As we get older, all we are left with are photos and fading memories.  Even if we tried, it’s difficult to pick up a pen and write about ourselves.  What do we say?  What will our loved ones want to know about our lives?

I was recently asked to review The Pass Down Journal.  This fantastic concept takes the most difficult part out of journal writing.  It’s an autobiography made easy!  Each entry begins with meaningful prompts.  The prompts range from simple descriptions of the neighborhood you grew up in to in depth accounts of impactful events and relationships.

The journal has a neutral colored hard cover, similar to a vintage classic.  It begins with an introduction about how to write in your journal.  It then goes on to provide 100 detailed journal entry prompts which avoids the one word or one sentence answers.  At the end of the journal, the company provides 25 bonus questions!  These questions are substitutes for any question that may not pertain to you or just use them as a bonus!

What if writing isn’t Grandpa’s thing?  You can use the journal to interview him.  By interviewing, you will not only have the gift of Grandpa’s stories but you will also bond through an emotional connection.

The Pass Down Journal retails for $27.99, about the same price as a hard covered book.  They’ve extended the Father’s Day sale in which you can save 15% by using the code “FATHERSDAY.”  In addition, 10% of the proceeds from your purchase goes to Conquer Chiari – a public charity dedicated to supporting patients afflicted by this condition and funding research to find a cure. Visit www.PassDownJournal.com to begin writing your history today.
