While my dad and step mom were visiting, they, my mom, brother, my daughter and I all went to visit St. Augustine. It was fun! We did the trolley tour but spent some time at the Old Jail.

I was invited to a new Dunkin Donut’s store in my area and got do some taste testing too! Yumm!
I took my cousin, Merrilee, along with me to try all the new delicious favors. We received samples of the new seasonal selection: Hot Eggnog Latte, Hot Red Velvet Latte, Peppermint Mocha Iced Coffee and the White Chocolate Iced Coffee. All were good but my favorite was the Peppermint Mocha Iced Coffee.
Along with all those wonderful drinks to try we got to try the Spicy sausage sandwich, the New Red Velvet Donuts and some Holiday Donuts.
Afterwards we got a tour of the new Dunkin Donuts….This one has a conference room, more seating and internet.
WE got to see the Donut making station. Pretty cool to see how it’s all done. The donuts are all baked fresh in the store.
All the seasonal flavors will be available till the end of December with new flavors coming in January. They are looking into branching out with their hot tea selections as well as offering gluten free options. The gluten free products will be prepackaged so there will be no cross contamination.
For those of you that live in the Jacksonville area, there will be more and more stores opening up. Ponte Vedra, FL is a possibility for all my neighbors!

What I’ve been up to…

I have been busy, busy, busy!
In August I signed up to sell Tupperware. My mother-in-law talked me into it. I wasn’t sure how it would go, but there are so many people I meet that want to buy it or they didn’t know anyone that sold it. So I’ve been busy going to events and setting up my tables.
This past Thursday the event was a ladies fashion show and the club house was right on the water!
I have also started a charity group that I hope to make official in a few months. Official meaning signing all those papers for a 501c3. It’s lot of work, so I’m taking it slow to see how it goes. We had our first event this past Saturday. We did a food drive for a local homeless shelter. We brought in 4 shopping carts of food($500) and over $200 in cash donations. Not bad for our first event and only 3 days to do it in! We had two locations set up on Saturday.
We have another event this coming Saturday were we will be having a raffle of donated services/items from local vendors. Then a bake sale in early December.
Plus more Tupperware events coming up and the holidays and school events and everything else! 🙂
I love all that I am doing but at times feel overwhelmed.

Summer is not over people! Just because all the back to school items are in the stores. We still have a month of fun!! And of course living in Florida we still months of beach and pool weather!!
Free Country wrote to me and asked if I wanted to review a bathing suit earlier this summer. I had already purchased mine this year, but asked if my hubby could review one. Free Country has a great selection of women’s tankini tops, swim skirts, and swim shorts and men’s swim shorts as well.
