When I first heard about Bulu Box I was definitely interested. I am always trying to live a healthy and active lifestyle but it isn’t easy! I have 2 children to keep up with, I volunteer at 2 different schools and between keeping the house tidy and running errands, I sometimes don’t have the energy or time for working out. I am working on it though and Bulu Box will be giving me the extra nudge to keep it up. Let me tell you a little bit about this awesome subscription service!

Yes, you read that right, only $10 for a box filled of samples every month! When my first box arrived it was like Christmas! I was so excited to open it and see what was inside.

The box also came with coupons and information about each sample. As you can see, my first box was filled with 7 samples and a 30 day free trial. for $10 I think that is a great deal! When you sign up at Bulu Box, you can choose a regular box (which I did) or a weight loss box. After you choose which box you want you can customize your box to what you like, such as do you want to lose weight, maintain your weight, do you weight lift, do you need more sleep..etc. Once you answer all of the questions your box will be customized to what your likings are.

Once you have tried the samples in your box, you can go online and review them (and purchase them if you like them!). For each sample you review, you will get points which adds up to money off your purchase. What a great opportunity to get your favorite full-sized sample product for less! I am very happy with all of my samples

I think this is an awesome subscription service. The samples are worth the $10 per month and I am excited to see what my next monthly box contains!

Postcard Panda, send a postcard from your phone to anyone in the U.S.

I moved to FL from NJ almost 2 years ago. All of my family is back in NJ so I don’t seem them often anymore. One thing I do like to do is send emails, pictures and postcards to them. An app for my iPhone is making this more fun now to do!

Let me Introduce you to Postcard Panda. Postcard Panda is an app you can download on your iPhone and send a picture postcard to anyone in the United States for only $1.99. When I told my 7 year old about this app, she thought was a great idea and wanted to create one right away!

She wanted to send herself a postcard with our cat on it to try this out. When you open the app it will ask you for a photo, message and address. Put these things in and pay the $1.99 (sent priority air mail) and there ya go, easy and simple and something someone would love to get in the mail!

The postcard quality is great and the picture is as clear as can be. The back shows the message we put, as you can see you can write a good amount on the postcard. This is a great idea for anyone who would like to send family or friends a postcard while you are on vacation.

The Snow Queen: Magic of the Ice Mirror – Feature

My 7 year old daughter loves Princesses. She loves to watch princess movies, and especially dress up like them. Her all time favorite movie is Frozen. When I was asked to review the new movie The Snow Queen: Magic of the Ice Mirror, I knew she would love to watch it.

This movie is the sequel to the fable by Hans Christian Anderson. The first movie is called Snow Queen.

Synopsis:
After celebrating their victory over the Snow Queen, Gerda and Orm have given their fellow trolls a taste of freedom. But when Orm gets a cold-hard reality check, they slip into another perilous journey and must protect the world from eternal winter.

I enjoyed watching this movie with my daughter, lots of parts kept us in suspense and wanting more. The troll telling the story was funny and kept us laughing. My daughter loved Snow Queen and said it reminded her of the movie Frozen, just a bit different. Some parts are a bit scary for real young children in my opinion, but my 7 year old did really enjoy it.

Halloween Costumes

Halloween is so much different now than when I was little. It seemed there weren’t many choices and choosing a costume was easy. Nowadays however there are 100’s of costumes to choose from!

When I asked my daughter what she wanted to be for Halloween she had a few ideas but wanted to visit Costume SuperCenter to get more ideas.

We went through them all several times before deciding on the Cheerless Cheerleader Costume. She was interested in a Cheerleader Costumes. While looking at all the cheerleader costumes she found the Cheerless Cheerleader costume and wanted to get that for Halloween. I had never heard of such a thing and when explaining it to others I got done strange looks. Think Gothic Cheerleader.

We were sent this costume to review. We were both very pleased with the costume. However the picture on the website sowed it with a few more accessories so I purchased some additional items to make the costume complete.

My daughter had a great time in her costume while she went trick or treating with the neighborhood kids.

Fall Is On The Way: Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Menu Returns This Month

Autumn is just around the corner and Dunkin’ Donuts is sweetening the season with exciting, new additions to their fall lineup!

This lucky lady was invited to visit our local Dunkin’ Donuts to sample the new fall menu items. Who would pass up this opportunity I ask you? Not me! I love pumpkin. Period. No matter what form it comes in, I’m all over anything with pumpkin in the title. So with an empty stomach and a sense of adventure I embarked on my Dunkin’ Donuts Tasting Experience.

The first on the list to try was the new Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich. This hearty breakfast sandwich serves up the spirit of game day grilling. Featuring a mouthwatering combination of egg, reduced fat cheddar cheese and juicy split smoked sausage topped with fire-roasted peppers and grilled onion mix and Ancho Chipotle sauce on an oven-toasted French Roll. This breakfast sandwich is so hearty and delicious I couldn’t help but eat every bite of the sample we were offered. A real winner!!

The next item offered was pumpkin coffee and lattes served hot and iced. These are a delicious staple I look forward to each fall at Dunkin’s. Pumpkin K-Cup pods and pumpkin packaged coffee are also available again this year.

The new Reese’s Peanut Butter Square was next on the tasting menu. This donut is filled with rich and creamy Reese’s peanut butter buttercream, topped with chocolate icing and finished with an orange icing drizzle. Scrumptious and sweet, this was a delight to devour.

Also brand new this year is the Pumpkin Cheesecake Square. This was my favorite new offering from Dunkin’s. This is pumpkin perfection! You need to try this if you love pumpkin as much as I do. Seriously! You can thank me later.

Three returning favorites were next on the tasting agenda. Pumpkin muffins, pumpkin donuts and donut hole treats. Perfectly paired with a warm cup of coffee, these sweet treats were delicious.

For guests in the Jacksonville area, Dunkin’ Donuts is also offering the Pumpkin Pie Coolatta. Featuring real pumpkin puree and spice flavors, with crumbled graham cracker pieces mixed in. Those graham cracker crumbles bring an unbelievable element to the drink. While they are small, their pie crust texture and flavor put the pie in this pumpkin drink. Whipped crème topping is the perfect addition to this unique offering.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced the return of its delicious Homestyle Apple Pie for the month of September only. A handheld pie made with real apples and a braided crust, topped with cinnamon sugar. One can never go wrong with the classic flavor of apples in autumn. If pumpkin isn’t your thing, this warm apple treat is guaranteed to make your taste buds smile and dance a little jig.

Coming in October……..Pumpkin Macchiato! Served hot or cold. Yep, I’ll be seeing you there!
