Skin MD Lotion Review and Giveaway

Ask anyone at my work and they will tell you smelly lotions and sprays really bother me. I’m not able to use any of the great lotions from the mall, it gives me a headache. Do you know it’s actually hard to find lotions without a smell and that feel good and have great ingredients? Well I do.
I was sent a bottle of the Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion to review. I really love this stuff! It feels so soft and it’s not greasy. And it doesn’t smell!

Here’s a little info about the lotion:
Their product is made in the US and is specially formulated using high quality natural ingredients making it over 90% all natural with all ingredients being of food grade and on the FDA’s most safe list. I love tall the natural ingredients. It’s also free of harmful fragrances, parabens, and colorants making it hypoallergenic. There is no animal testing nor does the lotion contain any animal products.

From the website:
Conventional lotions only add artificial moisture to the skin temporarily alleviating the dryness or itching, but these moisturizers don’t actually solve the problem, they only treat symptoms without eliminating the cause. Dry skin is unable to absorb the newly added moisture to allow repair – it does not get “locked” into the skin. It gets lost easily. That’s why we keep applying more and more of the conventional lotions. Even so, skin easily gets addicted and may even suspend production of it’s own moisture, relying on added moisturizer.

Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion, a very special type of lotion helping the skin restore its integrity, enhance its protective functions so that the skin is able to heal naturally and regain its youthful appearance. Skin MD Natural works by bonding with cells of the skin’s outermost layer to form what works as an invisible shield. This layer of protection prevents environmental irritants and pollutants from penetrating the skin, while sealing in the skin’s own natural oils and moisture, helping resolve the dry skin condition.

When you go on their website you can even see each ingredient and what it actually is. I like that.

Skin Md Naturals would like to give one Mommy Has to Work reader their own bottle of Shielding Lotion.

I learned: A Shielding Lotion is far more effective as a dry skin treatment than conventional moisturizing lotions or protective creams. If you suffer from dry skin, you know that just using a moisturizing lotion doesn't solve the problem.

  16. I read that The artificial moisturizers in conventional creams and lotions can send a signal to the moisture producing parts of your skin that enough moisture is present. Your skin then makes less of the natural moisture needed to resolve a dry skin problem.
