Invisalign – Make Me Smile Challange

Have you heard of Invisalign? I have, however I didn’t know that they had it for teenagers.

Right now Invisalign has a cool new contest called the the “Make Me Smile” challenge. It’s 3 months long and each month you can upload a video. The video has to be 30 seconds or less, but you can enter as often as you like.

The prizes are really cool. The grand prize is a trip for 2 for the Ultimate Hollywood Experience, including airfare, limo and a $5000.00 shopping spree. Also included is a hotel in Beverly Hills, lunch at the Ivy and a back lot tour. Three other winners will receive an Apple iPad loaded with the latest Hollywood movies. Hurry, though, there’s only one month left.

So what is Invisalign?

I wish it was around when I was wearing braces. I had to wear them for years!! Thankfully I did not need to have a mouth full, but I did have to wear that metal band. My parents even made me wear it to school. That didn’t last long, though.
Anyway, Invisalign is a series of clear comfortable and removable aligners that gradually move your teeth. The aligners are virtually invisible, so most people will not even know you are wearing them. You wear them most of the day, except to eat and brush, about 20-22 hours. Then in about 2 weeks you swap them out for new ones. They look very comfortable and much better than metal braces.
Now these are not for everybody and not every dentist uses these. You can check out their website for more details or ask your dentist.
So would I want my son to use this? Absolutely! I never would want to put my tween through metal braces if this would work the same way. I will definitely check it out, if Hunter’s dentist recommends braces. So far so good, though we’ll see.

This is a sponsored post through a Mom Bloggers Club member program. I will receive a monetary compensation for this post. However Invisalign sounds really cool and any opinions are my own.
