W/W 3 Snakes in One Week – Really?

My husband would not leave this one alone.

You can see this one’s head in the middle. Saw this one in front of my garage. You could hear Savannah’s screams for miles!

At least this one is dead!

I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here I started a non-profit, I'm on the PTO board, very active in my community and volunteer in the school.     That first one looks like a rattle snake! Is it? I have a lot of snakes show up in my backyard, because we are close to some woods and a creek, but they are always just garden snakes and I chase them back to the woods with the lawn mower. That’s right, I am very brave with a big hacking snake death machine in front of me!

    HUH?!!!!!! What’s with all the snakes!!!??? YIKES! I’m soooo not a fan of snakes. We had a giant 3 or 4 or (100) foot snake in our front yard early last summer and ick! It freaked me out. My 2 yr old at the time was curious and tried to walk up to it. eeek!

    Hope these are all the ones you see for a long long time.

    I can not stand snakes. Came home one afternoon and there was a baby one at the bottom of my steps blocking the way into the house – I have all 4 kids with me…and was really scared. Thankfully the mailman came along and killed it for me. It doesn’t matter how big or small they are – I am terrified.

    That first one looks like a cottonmouth. The second and third look like black racers. Where do you live?! I’m in central Florida and have both of those types of snakes!

    I am soooo sorry that you guys had all of them around. I am petrified around them and would have freaked!
