We all know that one volunteer at school or the library. The room mom that goes beyond the call of duty. Or the mom or dad that is always at the school helping out. How about those pink coat ladies at the hospital? When I delivered flowers as a teenager, I use to see them all the time.I would love to volunteer more. I like to volunteer for class field trips and specific functions at the school. But with work, blogging and everything else that needs to get done, I don’t have a lot of time leftover.

I would like to highlight my cousin Merilee. I’ve just gotten to know her over the past year and she is always volunteering to help out. She has been helping my mom find a place in St. Augustine. She has already volunteered herself to help clean and paint. She even volunteered her house for a week last summer. Merilee is sweet, kind and super friendly. She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to lend a hand.
