Taking care of my teeth hasn’t really been a huge challenge of me, or so I thought. I go to the dentist twice a year and brush twice a day.
Since our move I had to find a new dentist for myself and my children. In doing so I found a dentist that told me I had a ton of problems with my teeth and had to have some work done. I refuses the work and called my old dentist and they told me to get a second opinion. I am so glad I did!
I do not need to have all the things done, but the new dentist did tell me to I needed to floss everyday, instead of whenever I felt like it and he suggested am electric toothbrush.
My son has some issues about brushing his teeth and whenever he goes in they have to scrape off lots of tarter. He brushes but does not like to brush around his gums and there is always “stuff” left on his teeth.
So…I am excited to be taking the Listerine 21 Day Challenge. This is perfect because my son has an appointment at the end of February and I at the beginning of March.
We got this huge box from Listerine with all kinds of tools to help us with our challenge. My son and daughter are already claiming their toothbrushes!

I took this challenge last year and I am happy to report that we still use Listerine. They have great products.

We are doing the same thing. I read through it all with my daughter though I admit she is still not “thrilled” about it LOL.
It’s scary how yucky it is in your mouth and how much of it is NOT cleaned with brushing alone!

Sounds like a great challenge to take and you are not the first person I have heard of where a dentist claimed they needed work done which they really didn’t need. Good for you for getting a second opinion!
I like using xylitol based toothpastes to help control bacteria.
