I was recently sent the LeapFrog Melody the Musical Turtle to review. I have two children who are older and wouldn’t be good testers for this product, so I sent this adorable turtle a few states away to my nephew Joey, who will be turning 2 in January.

From music to memory, Melody lights the way!

Race the music to find numbers and colors, repeat patterns and create turtle-rific tunes in 10 snappy, light-up activities. Melody the Musical Turtle offers 10 fast-moving, musical activities that tune memory and preschool skills. Little ones think and move quickly to find numbers and colors on Melody’s shell or repeat patterns from memory. In Music mode, buttons light up to show little ones how to play familiar tunes. $19.99.

Melody has 10 musical activities for children ages 2 and over. This has 3 different learning modes and is easy to use. In the Learn and Play mode you have to listen and look for numbers and colours as quickly as possible. In the Memory mode you have to watch the buttons lights up and remember the order. The music mode is following the lights to play a familiar tune, you can also make your own tunes up.  Melody also has two volume settings.

What is also really fun about Melody is your child can play on their own or with their parents/siblings. My nephew loves playing the memory game with his Mom. He loves to clap along to the songs and press the buttons with the vibrant colors. It is great to help him learn his numbers and count. He has endless fun with Melody!!

You can find out where to purchase Melody on the LeapFrog website here. This would make the perfect holiday gift for any toddler in your life!!
