Rhythm of Secrets – Book review

I never thought I’d get into book reviews. I never have the time to read anymore, even though I love to read a good book. However the last few reviews I did, I really enjoyed reading them. It’s kinda forced me to read again, in a good way.

About the book:

Sheila Franklin, a devote pastor’s wife has secrets. One day she gets a call from her son, Samuel, whom she put up for adoption a long time ago. Samuel needs help to get his fiance,Mali , out of Thailand’s prostitution ring. He plans to blackmail her to help,but Sheila is all too willing to help her son. Sheila’s husband, Edward makes her choose between him and her son. All throughout the book there are flashbacks to the 1940’s and 50’s, as Sheila tells her son her life stories.

What did I think?

I really liked this and would definitely recommend this book. This book is based on a true story, I didn’t realize this until after I was done. What a difference the world was back in the 40’s and 50’s. I love reading about different era’s. The writing was smooth and never boring. One of those books you want to keep reading!
