Porcupine’s Seeds – Childrens Book Review

I recently received a new book for Savannah to enjoy! She has been out of day care since Febuary and I’m trying to keep things fresh at home.

We received  Porcupine’s Seeds written by Viji K Chary and  published by 4RV Publishing. The illustrations are by Bridget Mckenna. I usually forget to mention the artist, but wanted to share with this book, as the pictures are wonderful!

The book is about a Porcupine who wants to beautiful sunflowers just like his friend,Raccoon. Raccoon share five seeds with Porcupine and says that all they need is soil, sun, and water. Sounds easy, but this proves to be a challenge for Porcupine. All ends well in the end though!

Savannah and I both enjoyed reading this book. Savannah loves repeated the directions, soil, sun and water. She recently planted seeds and remembers that is what she needed to do too.
