Frozen pizza is usually not our thing. But I had the opportunity to try FRESCHETTA® By the Slice and review their six piece storage set. I have one word – Yumm!
I got the Six Cheese Melody Pizza and the BBQ Recipe Chicken Pizza. The kids liked the cheese, but not the BBQ. I liked them both though. My husband – not so fond of them, but he’s super picky. I thought it had just the right amount of everything! The crust has a medium thickness, not that super thin crust of some frozen pizzas and the crust had a good flavor to it. I decided to make it in the microwave as directed and it turned out perfect. The onions and chicken tasted fresh. The cheese was a quality cheese, not usually found in the frozen section.
I like the fact that you can get the pizza by the slice. Sometimes everyone wants something different. My only complaint is the lack of flavors. My husband would not have chosen any of them as their are none with meat, other than the chicken.
The other flavors to try are The Vegetable Medley and the Chicken, Spinach and Mushroom. I don’t think I will be trying those. I’m not keen on the mushrooms.
I also received a six piece Freschetta storage set. It doesn’t fir the pizza, but it’s a nice set.
