Really, how long should a gas grill last? I figured ours would only last about 8 years or so. I guess I was wrong!
We received ours as a wedding gift almost fifteen years ago! I remember at the wedding looking at that gift, thinking what the heck could that be? Never imagined it would be a grill! Don’s firefighter buddies all chipped in and bought it for us. And – we still have it!
It doesn’t look so great, though. I know we can paint it and replace some of the parts, which I’m sure Don’s done over the years. But I know my hubby won’t paint it, though and I doubt I will.
I was pondering replacing it with a new grill on csgrill.com. They have some really pretty and shiny grills. They have every size from little portable grills to massive two tank grills. I never knew there were natural gas grills or electric grills. I thought all grills were either charcoal or propane. One thing I did notice is they sell parts for grills, so maybe we could just replace some of those to make my old grill newer. 🙂
Do you think I can make it look like this?
CS Grills carry more than just grills too. I saw some really cool fire pits and outdoor space heaters. We always wanted to get one of those stand up space heaters, but I don’t think we spend enough time outside to warrant the expense, though.

So how long has your grill held up?
Dang, that’s awesome that it has lasted so long.
We have had ours for a while too! I want a new one though!
