Hey there! My name is Anne and I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here, I work as a floral designer, I started a non-profit and am very active in my community. I have been enjoying single life, dancing and visiting new places. I enjoy music, reading, traveling and spending time with my family. We have 2 cats and 1 dog.

Somewhere I have a book of feng shui – I used to really try to follow it, but I’ve sort of fallen out of the habit as I’ve moved around.
I never really understood “Feng Shui” but that diagram of the room is exactly what I like.
I have heard about Feng Shui but never truly knew how to do it. Funny that my mother in law has a mirror that points right to the front door.
My parlour doesn’t have too bad Fung Shui, but the overall house design isn’t so hot

This is definitely an interesting perspective when it comes to decorating. I had no idea that mirrors shouldn’t face the front door, but it makes sense thinking about it.

I don’t feng shui. I decorate a room and arrange furniture depending on what looks good and what the most practical and logical setup is.
I love the idea of it- I’m not sure how much I actually believe in it, but I think it’s fun.
We don’t follow Feng Shui in our house, I am always fascinated when I hear some of the rules.
I do know that when we were selling our condo in the Seattle area 8 years ago, we got multiple offers – in part because our front door faced the correct direction (East, I think).
That’s really interesting. I’m sure having peace in the house would be nice, but I can’t imagine spending so much to make it happen.
I do not but I’ve always been interested in just exactly how one goes about making a space Feng Shui.
My house looks like it’s a bachelor pad! My hubs and oldest son have taken over. It’s not pretty, it’s dark, boring, cluttered and yucky. I plan to create a more appealing and liveable space. I like using color and elements but my house is as far from Feng Shui.

I don’t believe in Feng Shui. I just set up my rooms on how the furniture fits and what we like.
I didn’t decorate my living room based on Feng Shui, but according to the infographic, I have mine very feng shui-ish. 🙂
I like the concept of Feng Shui, but I am not an active participant. If someone would come in and Feng Shui my home (and I liked it) I’d keep it!
No, I don’t feng shui, but I would love for a decorator to come to my house and get it organized that way.
Surprisingly I go to my husband for this kind of thing as he worked as an interior designer for three years.
